It gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to all of the competitors and their supporters to the 2019 Golf Croquet Women’s World Championship taking place across Hawke’s Bay.

Hastings District Council is proud to support this fantastic event and I wish all the players the best of luck.

Heretaunga Croquet Club will be a great host for the tournament and I know we will see some great matches played here during the week.

I encourage you to take the opportunity in your downtime to explore our beautiful district and everything it has to offer.

There is always something happening in Hawke’s Bay and February is a wonderful time to visit our iconic Te Mata Peak as well as our parks and reserves, beaches, wineries and shops.
