OCTOBER GNC ACADEMY
This Academy is giving our Gizzy girls & boys the opportunity to experience the challenges from being involved in representative programmes and the WBoP Magic in the Making camp.
It will give the girls & boys an insight into the next level of netball and what it takes to be selected for GNC representative teams.
It’s also a great opportunity for the girls & boys to test their fitness, challenge themselves, develop their skills, and simply give it a go!
Format of the Day | 9:30am–3:00pm
1. NetballSmart Warm-Up
2. Fitness Testing: Some of the fitness testing used at Magic in the Making camps. Each girls or boys will receive a sheet to record their results and track their performance. There is no goal to reach; this is just a “give it a go” day. and do your best
3. Morning Tea
4. Specialist Skill Session groups will split into their preferred areas — Midcourt, Defence or Shooters — and work with a Guest Coach to develop their specialist skills.
5. Lunch
6. Split into Even Teams / Team Bonding
The girls & boys will be placed into even teams and take part in team-building activities to get ready for the tournament.
