Grants Braes AFC and Otago University AFC are excited to announce that we have agreed to work together in 2022 and strengthen our relationship more over the Seasons ahead. The MOU which both Presidents signed on behalf of the Clubs benefits Grants Braes AFC and Otago University AFC in similar but also very different ways.

Benefits for Otago University AFC

Gives OUAFC players an opportunity to Coach Junior Teams In Dunedin.Gives OUAFC players an opportunity to feel valued and an important part of the Dunedin Football Community by Coaching GBAFC Junior Teams.

Gives OUAFC a reverse pathway, IE To Help develop Grants Braes AFC Jnr Players into Players that are able to play Premier LeagueGives OUAFC an opportunity to easily get Junior Players for Ball Person duty for Elite Men's and Woman's Home  Games

Most importantly this MOU gives OUAFC a Relationship with a Dunedin Junior Football  Club.

Gives GBAFC a pool of New Coaches for Junior Teams

Gives GBAFC Junior players an opportunity to Upskill with programs being offered by OUAFC

Gives GBAFC Junior Players an opportunity to experience the Excitement of Elite Men's and Women's Football from the sidelines gives GBAFC Junior Players a Pathway to Elite Senior Football if they attend Otago University

Otago University AFC and Grants Braes AFC over the 2022 Season will look at ways to strengthen the Relationship between the Two Clubs. We will also investigate opportunities to strengthen Women's Football, Futsal and Refereeing for our two Clubs.

Both Otago University AFC and Grants Braes AFC will remain separate Entities, there is no plan to Amalgamate at any stage.
