THE EVENT

  • In conjunction with NZDG the Greater Wellington Disc Golf Club bring you Wellington Junior Disc Golf part of a NZ junior event series. This event will be held around  NZ between the following date September schools holidays tbc)

  • Each Division will have a NZ wide winner as well as divisional winners for each event. The aim of the event is to encourage our Junior athletes to give disc golf a go as well as provide completion on a national basis while removing the cost and travel factors.

  • Players: Junior-only disc golf event all participants 18 years and under 
  • Rounds: 
    • 1-round of 13 holes for Juniors participating in divisions MJ/FJ6 or 8 years of age
    • 2 rounds of the 13 holes for Juniors participating in divisions MJ/FJ10/12/15 or 18 years of age
  • Location: Harcourt Park. 
  • Divisions:   
    • FJ06/MJ06 -  Junior 6 years and under 
    • FJ08/MJ08 - Junior 8 years and under
    • FJ10/MJ10 -  Junior 10 years and under
    • FJ12/MJ12 -  Junior 12 years and under
    • FJ15/MJ15 -  Junior 15 years and under
    • FJ18/MJ18 -  Junior 18 years and under

We know situations change and at times people need to withdraw once signed up 

Full refund if withdrawal request received by 23rd September 6pm

No refund post the 23rd September 6:01pm 


- Please note registration is not complete until payment received

- Please use 'NZJunior' and a players last name as your reference. This is fine even if multiple players are being enrolled at once.

- Entry fee is used to cover event set up costs and provide each player with a players pack including a disc. 

EVENT DETAILS

  • All entrants will start at the same time and we will spread players in groups over different holes; in disc golf this is called a shot gun start. 
  • 9.00am sign in for the event to meet the event volunteers, collect players packs and have a short discussion on the event requirements and then start the round at 930am. 
  • Spot prizes are going to be given out during the event and the prizegiving for each division will be held at the conclusion of all the divisions rounds (rolling celebrations)
  • Please note Loan discs and Mini Markers will be available for use during this event
  • All players, please watch out for members of the public playing disc golf or utilising the park for other reasons.
