Mens:

  • Must be under 23 at 31 December 2025
  • Year of birth: 2003 or after

Mixed Social:

• Mixed Whero
• Mixed Mā
• Mixed Pango

JUNIOR GRADES:
T Ball Mixed (U7):

• Must be under 7 at 31 December 2025
• Year of birth 2019 or after
  • There is no minimum age, please contact halswellsoftball@gmail.com if you are unsure if this will be a good fit for your child

T Ball Boys and Girls (U9):

• Must be under 9 as at 31 December 2025
• Year of birth 2017 or 2018

U11 Boys and Girls:

• Must be under 11 as at 31 December 2025
• Year of Birth 2015 or 2016

U13 Little League Boys and Girls:

• Must be under 13 as at 31 December 2025
• Year of birth 2013 or 2014

U15 Junior League Boys and Girls:

• Must be under 15 as at 31 December 2025
• Year of birth 2011 or 2012

Under U18 Junior League, Boys and Girls:

• Must be under 18 as at 31 December 2025

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What happens next now that I have registered? 

A. Teams will be formed in early to mid September. Once formed, you will be contacted by a coach for training  and team information.

Q. When is training?  

A. Training night and time will depend on the Coach's (and player's) availability.

Q. When and where are junior games played?  

A. Juniors play on a Saturday morning. Occasionally there are games played at other parks for special events like Club Days.

T-Ball (U7s, U9s): Hagley Park South, 11.00am-12.00pm.

U11/U13: Hagley Park South, 9.30am-10.30am.

U15: Dynasty Ballpark, 10:00am-11.30am.

U18:  Dynasty Ballpark, 10.00am-11.30am.  

U23: TBC 

Q. I want to help with my child's team. what do I need to do?

A. We are always looking for people to help coach, manage or assist in any way.  Please let one of our committee know at one of our events or email halswellsoftball@gmail.com. We can provide guidance and training.
