The Hastings Athletic Club caters for athletes aged three years through to masters.​​​​

Track & Field Season 2026/2027
Starting Tuesday 20 October 2026 through to late March 2027.​​​​​​​

Have-a-go days 20 and 27 October with the full athletics programme starting from 3 November 2026.

Please note: your grade is determined by your age as at 31 December 2026 (not your age at the start of the season).

Club Nights

Club nights are a mixture of coaching and competition with age-appropriate events.

Tuesdays at Mitre 10 Sports Park, Percival Road,Hastings

*Club nights are never cancelled due to weather but you are also under no obligation to attend all club nights.

Juniors 

3 - 6yrs | 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm 

7 - 13 yrs  | 6 pm - 7 pm 

Tuesday Club nights are age specific athletics for our junior athletes.

There are Club Ribbon Meetings held in Hastings/Napier/Gisborne/Dannevirke/Central Hawke's Bay that all junior athletes can compete in.

Seniors 

14yrs - Masters  |  7.00pm till finish

Senior Club nights are run more as competitions rather than coaching sessions.

All points accumulated over the season at our Club nights go towards prizegiving.  

There are also external meetings locally and around the country that our Seniors are able to compete in.​​​​​​​
