H.T. was very well represented in this grade.

Coached by Tracey Pirini (our Team Premier Coach).  This was Tracey's fourth year coaching for Tamaki; first year in this age group.

Trials for this age group we well attended by players across Auckland and successful players included our girls:

Playing up to 10 games this team struggled to find competition. Until pipped at the post by Ikaroa ki te Tonga on the second day.

Result, an awesome RUNNERS UP for this grade!

Two players from this U17 team were selected in the Aotearoa NZ team.
