Notes for ALL Clubs and Umpires

Responsibilities before the game

• Collect Timer
• Check fingernails, jewellery, uniform and adornments
• Check teams have written all names on card including substitutes
• Organise official score keeper and timer for the game
• Communicate with co-umpire
• Check court and sidelines to ensure it is safe
• Ensure teams have tossed.


• Responsibilities after the game


• Complete Elliot Cup points for each team.  Teams are marked out of 7 for each of the following:
• Punctuality
• Dress
• Sportsmanship
• This gives a possible total of 21 points.




• Scores to be filled in, in the correct places
• Both umpires to sign card
• Return card and timer to table.
