Wairoa Release Dates 2024/25

Please help us ensure continued access to scheduled flow dates on the Wairoa River by joining the Kaimai Canoe Club for FREE with a Friend-of-the-Wairoa membership

^New dates as rescheduled following the lifting of the rāhui. Come along for a NYE paddle or enjoy two days on the river for Auckland Anniversary Weekend.

*Due to a rāhui placed on the Wairoa River following a death at Poripori, the scheduled flows for 8 and 15 December have been postponed. The Kaimai Canoe Club will work with Manawa Energy to re-schedule these flow dates for later in the summer once the rāhui has been lifted.

Note: Double flow dates on the 22nd and 23rd of February for the Extreme Race and Lower Gorge Slalom
