MOUNTED GAMES

Mounted games are played in pairs and teams at the National Zone Finals and  teams only, at the NZPCA Championships. Often, Gymkhanas include team, pairs and individual games. NZPCA holds Zone Games Finals annually and a NZPCA Team Mounted Games Championship biennially.

KCAPC competes in Zone 2 along with teams from Waikato and Bay of Plenty Areas.

Club teams (Waimarino and Taumarunui & Districts) qualify to compete at the Zone 2 Final at our Area Games competition/tria which is to be held at the Waimarino A&P Showgounds on Wednesday 25th January 2017.

ZONE 2 GAMES FINAL SATURDAY 25TH FEBRUARY 2017, WAIPA EQUESTRIAN PARK, KIHIKIHI

A teams & pairs competition, which includes King Country, Bay of Plenty and Waikato Areas.

Age Groups:

TEAMS 

  • Open - riders 24 years and under as at the day after the competition of the Zone Final in the year in which the Final is held.

PAIRS – 2 Age groups:

  • 14 years and under as at the day after the competition of the Zone Final in the year in which the Final is held;
  • Open - riders 24 years and under as at the day after the competition of the Zone Final in the year in which the Final is held.

King Country Area Pony Club criteria to trial for the team

  1. Trial date  – Wednesday 25th January 2017.
  2. Entry fee for a team to trial is $10 per rider, $40.00 - $50.00 per team– depending on the number in the team. (The CLUBS enter the team/s to trial)
  3. Commitment fee is $20.00 per riding team member and payable immediately after selection.               
  4. Reimbursements –$40.00 per horse to the transporter thereof for the return trip – to be paid by the Clubs.
