Kerikeri Netball Centre Pre Season Tournament

A very warm welcome back to the Kerikeri Netball Centre 2026 Season. We are excited to kick things off with our Pre-Season Tournament.

Live Scoring

  • Please download the My Netball Manager App prior to the tournament
  • App instructions are attached if you are unfamiliar with online scoring
  • Scorer codes have been emailed, or can be found on Team Builder
  • Each team must allocate a scorer and ensure they are familiar with the app
  • No need to enter player names for this tournament

Check-In

  • Managers or Coaches must check in at the Control Room 30 minutes prior to your first game

Game Format

  • 2 x 10-minute halves
  • 2-minute halftime
  • 8 minutes between rounds
  • Games are centrally timed by KKNC

Grades

  • Year 7/8
  • Year 9/10
  • Year 11/12/13

Tournament Notes

  • Normal netball rules apply
  • Rolling substitutions for all grades (no stopping time for subs)
  • Round robin format – winners determined by points
  • Year 7/8 is the only grade with crossover semi-finals and finals
    • Once round robin games are complete, draws will be updated on the app and website
  • The umpire’s decision is final – no disputes
  • Teams must supply their own non-playing umpire (Centre Theory or higher)
  • No injury time
  • Please refer to  KKNC Rules and Regulations  regarding boys playing

Year 7/8 Finals Rule (Important)

Semi-finals and finals cannot end in a draw.At the final buzzer:

  • Play stops immediately
  • Players and the ball must remain in position
  • Umpires confirm the score

If the game is tied:

  • Play restarts from that position
  • First team to lead by 2 goals wins

Please ensure scorers, umpires, and players understand this before games begin.

General Information

  • No refunds unless the event is cancelled by the organiser
  • If uniforms are not ready, please email us to discuss options
  • Clubrooms will be open, with space available for gazebos
  • Canteen will be open
  • Umpires’ room available for storage (light snacks provided)
    • Players are not permitted in this room

Prizegiving

  • 3:55pm in the Clubrooms (immediately after the final round)

Payments

All invoices must be paid prior to taking the court on Sunday 19th April.
