Youth Cricket (for high school aged kids)

Lincoln Cricket Club runs a youth training academy and is associated with the Selwyn/Banks Peninsula Youth Cricket Club, who provide the following opportunities for high-school aged boys and girls:

Year 9 Grade

Playing in the Christchurch Metro Year 9 competitions.

Year 10 & Colts Grades

Playing in the Christchurch Metro Year 10 competitions. 

Years 11-13 Grade

Playing in the Christchurch Metro Youth competitions.  

2026 Season Dates

The youth cricket season starts in late January early February and runs for the calendar year Approx. dates are 29th January – 19th March and 14th October – 9th December.

The players are largely drawn from Lincoln High School and play under the Selwyn/Banks Peninsula Youth Cricket Club banner. Home games are usually at Lincoln High School or Lincoln Domain but may be in other parts of the local district.
