Marist College Fitness Centre
The Marist College Fitness Centre is a purpose-built facility open to all students and staff who wish to participate in physical activity outside of the school’s normal structured extra-curricular activities.
The Marist College Fitness Centre has been designed to be a space where students can actively participate in both supervised and unsupervised capacities.
Memberships
New membership applications are opened during the school holidays and the first two weeks of each term apart from the first term which will be in the first four weeks.
A membership fee of $30 per term will be charged. This charge will support the ongoing maintenance of equipment. Memberships must be paid for at the school office or via our school shopping cart. All memberships must be paid in advance before students are eligible to use the Fitness Centre.
All students and parents must complete the following forms before accessing the Fitness Centre:
Induction
Every member must complete an induction to use the Fitness Centre. These will take place as close to membership registration as possible. Information on how to book an induction time slot will be sent directly to students after they have completed all documentation and membership fees have been paid.
Inductions take around 45 minutes.
Students will only be required to complete the induction if they are new to the Fitness Centre or if they let their membership lapse for longer than one year.

All students in Years 7-9 must have a supervising adult when accessing the Fitness Centre once they have completed a formal induction process.
All students in Years 10-13 may access the Fitness Centre unsupervised once they have completed a formal induction process.
All students must have parental permission to access the Fitness Centre including agreeing to the terms and conditions.
All parents must agree to the terms and conditions of this document.
All students use this facility at their own risk, and the school is not liable for any injuries that occur while using the facility.
