The MNWC Area is also often known as the "Top of the South". Most of the clubs and branches are small in comparison to other areas but they certainly don't lack passion and there are plenty of events each season thanks to the number of dedicated and hard-working volunteers throughout the area.

MNWC Area Pony Clubs are proudly hosting 2 major events in 2025, NZPCA Eventing Championships in April and SI PC "Springston Trophy in October 2025 both in Blenhiem
