Nau mai, haere mai!
Welcome to Massey Amateur Swimming Club!
Massey Amateur Swimming Club has been proudly serving the West Auckland community since 1984. We are a volunteer-run, community-based swimming club dedicated to promoting water confidence, water safety, and the development of swimming skills in a fun and supportive environment.
We welcome children and young people aged 5 to 18 years. Places are limited each season, so we encourage interested families to register early. As a learner and social swimming club, our focus is on helping swimmers improve their technique, confidence, and personal performance, rather than competing against other clubs.
Swimming instruction is provided in group sessions during our weekly Club Nights and is delivered by our team of volunteer coaches and helpers. Please note that we do not offer one-on-one coaching.
Throughout the season, swimmers have opportunities to participate in club races and track their personal progress. The season concludes with our annual Club Championships (Champs), where eligible swimmers can take part and celebrate their achievements. To qualify for Club Champs, swimmers in Championship-eligible groups must attend at least 8 Club Nights and complete each stroke at least 4 times during the season. Orange Group swimmers (Beginners) are encouraged to participate in races throughout the season and are recognised for their participation, effort, and progress.
