General Manager: Tim Richards

Tim started with the Manawatū Cricket Association as General Manager in 2022 after previously working for the MCA as Junior Cricket Coordinator from 2014-16. Tim is the person to talk to about the association finances, including sponsorship opportunities and fundraising events. He will also be the person to talk to about the day to day operations of the association.

Competitions and Pathway Lead: Cole Freeman

Cole has started at Manawatū Cricket Association as the Competition and Pathwway Lead after previously working in the role of Youth Cricket Coordinator.

Cole oversees the pathway programmes, club cricket, twilight cricket, and is the superuser for PlayHQ.

Coach Development and Programmes Lead: Bjorn Dix

Bjorn joins the team at Manawatū Cricket as the Coach Development & Programmes Lead for the 2023/24 season. While supporting and growing coaches across the region via Manawatū Cricket and New Zealand Cricket initiatives is a priority, Bjorn will also oversee our programmes and work closely with other staff to ensure we are providing the best opportunities for our participants.

Female Development Officer: Sarah Calkin

Sarah has moved into the role of Female Development Officer for the 2023/24 season after being in the MCA Girls Club Co-ordinator role last season. 

Sarah has played cricket since primary school and was one of the original members of the MCA Girls Club when it was first established and is currently a member of the Manawatū Senior Women's Squad. Sarah has a real passion for the female game and is excited about the opportunity to continue to grow the game in Manawatū.

Sarah's key areas are MCA Girls Club, Yeah! Girls, Secondary School Girls Cricket and all other junior girls cricket-related information.

Kaiārahi Rangatahi Youth Cricket Coordinator: Logan Hey

Logan started at MCA in the Kaiārahi Rangatahi Youth Cricket Coordinator role at the start of 2023/2024 season.

Logan grew up playing cricket and coming through secondary school cricket before being part of the summer squad of coaches for 2 summers prior to starting role with MCA, which set him up well for the job. 

For the 23/24 season Logan will be leading all Junior Cricket, Secondary Cricket, and also in school programs in the Manawatu Region.
