Voted Softball New Zealand's 'Club of the Year' for 2021!

The Metro Softball Club is an established softball club based in the Auckland suburb of Mount Albert. With grades from social through to competitive, we have teams to cater for every age and playing ability! 

How do you find us? The Metro Clubrooms are based at Phyllis Reserve, just behind Unitec in Mount Albert. We’re easy to find and on a big park with plenty of space to play; with 2 competitive grade fast-pitch softball diamonds, as well as additional Tee-ball/Junior fields.

WHAT GRADES DO WE OFFER? 
For the 2023 - 2024 seaon, Metro intend to field the following:

Tee-Ball: Under 6's and Under 8's 
Rookie Socks: Under 10's - Under 13 (Mixed)
Junior: Under 15's, Under 17's, Under 18's
Senior Softball: Divisions 1 - 3 (Men and Women) 
For senior players (aged 16+), we have both social and competitive grades available.
Premier & Reserve: Women

* NB: Teams registered as of October 20th 2023 will be numbers dependant

WHEN IS SOFTBALL? 
The standard softball season runs from Saturday 28th October 2023 through until mid March 2024, with games falling on Saturday morning (Juniors) or afternoon (Seniors).
NFS Competition (Premier & Reserve grades) finishes Saturday March 2nd.

- Tee-Ball/Rookie Socks play at 9am every Saturday in Mt Albert
- Juniors (U11 - 18) play at either 9am or 10.30am around Auckland 
- Seniors (Divisions) play in the afternoons at either 1.30 or 3.30pm.
- Reserve Women play on Monday evenings between 6 - 7pm.
- Premier Women play on Saturday afternoon 1 - 5pm.

Our club is in the process of being rebuilt, with development underway to build modern clubrooms and new playing surfaces. The ground work has already begun on our three new fields, which will be easily accessed by the new cycle-way.
