Senior League & Open Grade

Our strong Senior League programme has seen much success due to focussed training, quality coaching and great comraderie. At this level, players build on skills and opportunities provided at the junior level. We are able to cater to both new players, and those with more experience to provide opportunities both locally and nationally for further development should individual players want it.

Senior League includes players:

Ages 15+

Trainings & Games

Training: Thursdays, 5:30-7pm at Champion Green (behind Garin College).

Games: Games are 10am Saturdays. The season will culminate in a National Club Tournament that Nelson Heat will send teams to. More details to come.

The subscription fee for the entire season (October-April) is $85.

Teams

The national participation framework allows teams in 16U, 19U and Open age groups.

Once all registrations are in each year, the Club will determine which teams in what age groups it will form.

Note: All ages quoted mean the player must be that age as at 31 August 2023 to play in that grade. However dispensations are available for local play from the Association if the coach thinks the player needs to play up or down a grade to suit their abilty and for the safety of themselves and other players.

There are no dispensations allowed for national tournaments.
