Mother Earth FutureFERNS is divided into different stages of development, with the modified game becoming more challenging as the players continue to develop their skills as they get older.

Netball Eastern Southland Centre is an endorsed Centre provider of Mother Earth FutureFERNS.  This means that our Junior Netball co-ordinator has completed the required training and accreditations to successfully and correctly run this programme following the Netball New Zealand guidelines.  Our coaches have also been trained to teach the children skills and development required of this programme.

Netball Eastern Southland Centre will be delivering this programme at MLT Events Centre, Gore on Wednesdays in Term 3 for children aged from 5yrs to 10-11yrs. For more information contact nescgore@outlook.com ​​​​​​

Year 1 & 2

Year 3 & 4

Year 5 & 6

The 6 v 6 game is fast and provides players with lots of touches on the ball to enhance skill development and enjoyment. With only three positions on court it means the game is less complicated for children and easier for coaches to ensure the players learn the skills relevant to all positions and to provide them with equal opportunities.
