Membership from & fees for the 2023 season is open (01 Jan - 31 Dec 2023)
A change to the NZMS fiscal year to be a calendar year means the 2023 season fee is only for a 6-month period however, we welcome new members joining at any time of the year so please don't hesitate to come along.
If you want to be a master's swimmer; you must pay both the NZMS master swimmer fee AND the Newmarket club swimmer fee.
Masters' Swimmer membership provides your affiliation with NZ Masters Swimming. To remain eligible for NZ Masters Swimming you must be a financial member of the club and NZMS for each year.
Benefits of NZ Masters Swimming membership
- Affiliation to FINA to swim in internationally sanctioned events
- Access to local and NZ swim meets
- Online entry forms for NZ-sanctioned swim meet
- Access to Club postal swims
- a 'postal' meet is where you swim it at your own pool at a convenient time and send the results to the club running the swim meet
- Monthly MasterScrawl newsletters and website
- Access to the secure area of the NZMS website, including swim programmes and other members-only content
- Access to other clubs throughout the country by producing your membership
Club Swimmer members are part of the club but do not participate in competitive master's events.

Please note club membership excludes coaching fees (Swim Squads Newmarket) and pool entry (Olympic). These are paid directly to the respective providers.
Go to the NZMS member portal to register with Newmarket Masters and pay your fees (club and NZMS).

Ensure any changes to your details are sent to the club secretary ASAP to update club and NZMS databases
