Training opportunities

No matter your age or ability, there's a training pathway to help you improve. Please contact us at club@nhbmx.org.nz if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing plenty of riders making the most of these fantastic coaching opportunities throughout the season!

New Rider Training

Tuesday | 4:30–5:15 pm.

These sessions are a great opportunity to try BMX, helping new riders build confidence, learn the basics, and prepare for Club Nights in a fun, supportive environment.

Riders attending New Rider Training should already be confident riding a pedal bike and able to complete 3–4 straights independently, without assistance.

All riders must be signed off by a coach before using the start ramp, including the half ramp.

Knee and elbow pads are mandatory for all Sprocket riders
