NCAC Membership and Registration is Annual (April-March)

Includes both:
WINTER (Cross Country & Road) season runs from 1st April to 30th September

SUMMER (Track & Field) season runs from 1st October to 31st March


2024/25 NCAN Registration Fees

  • NCAN Registration Senior & Masters (23yrs +):
    $163

  • NCAN Registration Senior 20-22yrs:
    $154

  • NCAN Registration 15-19yrs:
    $132.00

  • NCAN Registration 7-14yrs:
    $97.00

  • WINTER: Does NOT include: Training fees and some Cross Country & Road Race entry fees which are additional.
  • SUMMER TRACK & FIELD: Does NOT include Training Fees, Canterbury Interclub, Canterbury Championsip entry fees & Colgate Games entry fees which are additional.

When registering please ensure you register in the appropriate age category based on age as of 31st of December 2024.

      

Please note:

At our 2024 AGM the NCAC Committee decided to hold registration fees across the board. This is a direct result of fundraising efforts by our small but dedicated club over the last few years which we wish to pass on. In 2024 NCAC will be covering some Winter race fees for our Winter Race Entries tab above.

The majority of our fees is compulsory affiliation to Athletics Canterbury & Athletics NZ.

  • A 50% discount for all members on their fees if they or a parent are an active member of the committee.


Training Fees (per child/athlete)

PLEASE NOTE: Summer Track & Field training is only available to those who register for the North Canterbury Athletic Club and compete at Saturday Interclub Competitions.

1 training session per week is $60.00

2 training sessions per week is $120.00

Track & Field Children 7-14yrs
Grades are in one year increments and ages are as at 31st December 2024 for this season and athletes remain in that grade all season.

Grades
Age grades are determined by Athletics NZ & NZ Childrens Athletics Association & run from 1st April each year, the age grades for competition nationally are:

  • Masters Men (MM) or Women (MW) - athletes 35 years or older on the day, they progress in 5 year blocks.  Some events MM commence at 40 years.
  • Senior Men (SM) & Women (SW) -  athletes 20 years or older between 1st April and 31st December in the current registration year.
  • Junior Men (M18/19) & Junior Women (W18/19) - athletes under 20 years and older than 17 years as at 31st December in the current registration year.
  • Youth Men (M15/16/17) & Youth Women (W15/16/17) - athletes under 18 years and older than 14 years as at 31st December in the current registration year.
  • Children under the age of 15 race in one year grades


Uniform

When representing the club in competition a member is required to wear a club singlet and plain black shorts. A small manufacturer’s ‘brand’ logo is permitted on the shorts, no other franchise logos are permitted. The Canterbury registration number must be worn on the front of the singlet.

The cost to purchase a singlet is $45.00 (inc. gst)

The cost to purchase a crop top is $45.00 (inc. gst)

Club Hoodies, Long Sleeve Training T-Shirts and Hats can be ordered - price on application.
