NRF is proud to continue the successful club partnership model to deliver teams to the National Youth Futsal Championships this year, working alongside Auckland City FC.
Under the guidance of Futsal White Dylan Manickum and Futsal Ferns head coach Nic Downes, the 2024 program will feature two girls’ teams and two boys’ teams in the U15 and U19 age categories. All Futsal players from across the Auckland region are invited to trial and participate in these representative teams. This opportunity is open to all young futsal players, no existing association with Auckland City FC is required - to get involved.
The teams will undergo a seven-week training program leading up to the national tournament, which will be held in Wellington from Saturday, December 7 to Tuesday, December 10.
Team trials are scheduled for Wednesday, September 18 & 25 for girls and Friday, September 20 & 27 for boys.
