The two finalists have been confirmed for the Chatham and Kate Sheppard Cup! 

Auckland United and current Kate Sheppard Cup holders Western Springs progressed in two very different matches. Springs started the match very strong, scoring two goals within the first five minutes before adding the third in the 24th minute. Auckland United was down and looking to be out with two minutes of regular time on the clock before they levelled the game in the 88th minute. With extra time on the horizon, United would snatch the match in the 98th minute. 

A classic match took place at Kiwitea Street between the hosts Auckland City and Birkenhead United. Hattrick hero Angus Kilkolly would help Auckland City get over the line in the end but Birkenhead forced the match to the 120th minute. Monty Pattersons' quick relaxes in the box got the scoring underway in the 33rd minute, ten minutes later Angus Kilkolly levelled the match by confidently converting a penalty. A Ryan De Vries strike from outside the box took City into the lead in the 56th, quickly to be answered by Birkenheads Sam Philip after a scuffle from a corner in the 68th minute. The match would go to extra time where Angus Kilkolly would step up and score two unanswered goals and confirm Auckland City into the Final of the Chatham Cup. 

The Finals location and times have been confirmed by New Zealand Football for North Harbour Stadium on Saturday the 7th of September with the Kate Sheppard Cup at 4:00pm and the Chatham Cup at  7:00pm.
