13 th Grade / Youth Football

The focus for this age group is to provide opportunities for players who would like more footballing activity with an environment that encompasses training and competition, while still promoting the enjoyment of the game.

We are entering teams in the following grades for the 2025 season:

• U13 Mixed
• U13-14 Girls
• U15-16 Girls

The grade you register your child in is the age they will turn in 2025 (14 years old in 2024 will be 14th grade). Depending on numbers there may be slight changes to this but we will let you know after registration.

Selection

The youth teams are selected based on prior knowledge of players and teams from previous years and requests to play with friends. Our convenors do their best to find the most suitable team for players.

Training & Game Day

Community youth teams have weekly team trainings and play in the NRF Community Youth League. Games are normally held on a Saturday at 11am or 12pm and are played either at home (Mangere Mountain) or away against other Central and South Auckland clubs.

• 11 a side (3-5 rolling subs)
• Size 5 ball
• Full field
• 60-minute games – 30 mins halves with 5 min half time

Playing gear

All players will need the below, the club provides your playing shirt

• OMUAFC Shorts
• OMUAFC Socks
• Shin Pads and Football boots

Fees

The fee for the 2024 winter season for U13 to U19 grades is $170.
