YES. Winter football is very welcoming for begininers. At junior levels the focus is learning skills, having fun and building life skills, not just winning. We run have a go days in summer & free summer football programs, watch out for our social media posts 

The winter season usually runs from April to September. Teams often start training and getting together in late February or March. The season is aligned with school terms two & three 

Your child will play in the age group that they are turning in 2024, example: If your child is turning 10 this coming year, they are egliable to play in the 10th grade team. If your child is turning 13 this coming year, they are egliable to play in the 13th grade team. The year is from the 01st January to 31st December.

Dependant on the age group you are wanting to register for, the registration cost will vary. Our fees structure are based on the grades for the 2026 winter season are : All fees are incluvise of socks

• For our first kicks age group (4 to 6 yrs old) it is $70.00 

• For our fun football age group (7 to 8 yrs old)  it is $70.00

• For our mini football age group (9th grade and 10th grade) it is $90.00

• For our 11th grade age group it is $120.00

• For our 12th to 19th grade age groups (12/13/14/15/16/17/18/19 yrs old) it is $140.00 

• For our senior mens and womens it is $250.00

Note: our fees do not cover any of the personal playing equipment required to play such as football boots or shin pads 

We will do our best to allocate a team for every child based on their age they are turning in that calendar year. We are discuss further options if we are unable to.

The answer is yes, however this has certian criteria to it. Please enquire with the club secretary to find out more 

Our fees include affilation costs to New Zealand Football, Northern Region Football and club operating costs. Without fees would not be able to have a club or offer the services we do 

• Games: Usually on Saturday mornings with the exception of senior women's who play on Sunday morning's. 
• Training: Typically one evening per week. Exact times are confrimed by the coach
• Cancellations: The club or coach will be in touch with you should either games or trainings be cancelled / postponed

Depending on the age group and scheduling teams could play within the Mangere Ōtāhuhu local area or travel as far away as Pukekohe / Tuakau. Seniors will play all across Auckland depending on the league they are in

• We as club provide the playing shirts and shorts for juniors -  socks are incorporated into your playing fees and you get pair to keep. The shirt and shorts are to be returned at the end of the season 

• For senior players a full playing strip is provided, shirts, socks and shorts - again these are to be returned at the end of the season 

• Football boots (for grass fields) 

• Shin guards (mandatory) 

• A drink bottle
