3) Get some wetsuit booties or find an old pair of trainers to protect your feet.
4) Turn up at Scott Park with some sunscreen, hat, booties and recommend bring a wetsuit. We have some wetsuits but mainly child/small/mediums. On the warmer days (20DegC+) you'll get away with swimming togs and a top.
- Drinking water is on site, sometimes an ice cream van during the day. Bring snacks.
- On the day, one of our instructors will tailor the tuition for the beginners and we'll get you going. We have the gear and water ready, fingers crossed for good winds.
- Training is for a 2hr period, this mayby extended by the instructor if safe to do so. Assume a 3hr visit after washing and putting your gear away. Freesailors with approval by the duty instructor or beach master may extend their session until the shed mast be locked and secured (normally with very high tides and short fins).
