In 2026, we are trialling an exciting new format, Friday Night Girls Only football at McLennan Park!

Our goal is to create a vibrant, female-focused environment where players can build confidence, make friends, and develop their skills in a supportive community setting.

8th & 9th Grade Girls

8th & 9th Grade (Born 2017–2018)
For our 8th and 9th Grade girls, a 5v5 Game format to ensure every player gets heaps of touches on the ball. We are working closely with Northern Region Football (NRF) and other local clubs to establish a "Southern Girls Club Hub." Ideally, this will involve games against other local clubs at McLennan Park on Friday nights, providing a consistent and fun competitive experience.

    Make sure to enter 8th or 9th Grade

​​​​​​​Our youngest players will participate in mini-training sessions focused on skill-building and play. These sessions are designed to be similar to our popular New Zealand Football Fantails programme, combining fundamental movement skills with small-sided games to ensure the girls have a blast while learning the basics of the "beautiful game" and making friends!
