Brookside Park, Rolleston

The field is bordered by Brookside Road, Dunns Crossing Road and Lowes Road.

There is now a sealed path across the middle of the park from Brookside to Lowes Roads.

Floodlights about the middle on the west side, Brookside Road.Soccer in winter, cricket in summer. Fairly well used by soccer players on Saturdays during the winter. The girls play Sunday but usually on the east corner leaving the SW part empty.

Artificial turf cricket pitches, unfortunately only for NE, SW winds. No NW runway unless the sealed path is used and that is bordered by small trees.

An earthquake in 2012 right in the middle of the field doesn't seen to have done any damage or certainly no more than one of our planes crashing on the spot a few hours before it !!!!
