HEALTH & SAFETY ON CLUB NIGHTS

The following areas are out of bounds: -

  • Climbing on the light poles or rugby posts.
  • The seated stand above the first few rows. No children running in the stands.

These belong to the rugby club and we should respect their grounds and equipment.

No dogs are allowed in the stadium - this is a rule of the Counties Manukau Rugby Club.

No playing on the high jump mats or with any field event equipment before the start of club night or without the supervision of an club official/adult.

Please also be aware of the areas around the shot put and discus. Children do not always throw straight and being struck by a shot put or discus can be serious or fatal.  Please stay out of the roped off area surrounding the discus at all times.

Please check before crossing the track during club night to avoid causing a hazzard to oncoming runners.

All children under the age of 14 must be accompanied for the entire club night by a parent and/or caregiver.

Emergency evacuation - in the event of an emergency please move quickly and gather in the carpark.

First Aid - if required, there is a first aid kit at the committee desk.

No alcohol, smoking or vaping in the stadium on club nights.

No balls are to be brought into the stadium as they can interfere with track and field events and be a hazard.

Please ensure that the tiny tots do not cross the centre of the field at any stage during club nights. Please walk around the track to the tiny tots section.
