RACEWALKING AUCKLAND EVENTS 2025/26

​​​​​​ * All RWA events start at ​​​​​​​08.30 (8-30 AM) UNLESS OTHERWISE STATED!

 For juniors there will always be the option of shorter distances as required.  For persons not wanting to race we also have a social walk most Sundays  (1st-timers are welcome to just observe if they prefer ). Also we often have a post-walk visit to  a local Cafe for brunch also.* Members please wear our club uniform for races & training walks.*

14th June. Winged Foot Trophy. Auckland Domain, Grafton.

21st June. Training sessions. Botanical Gardens, Manurewa.

27th June. GP3 Athletics Auckland 2 or 4K Cross-Country Walks, Long Bay (2.15p.m. start).

28th June. Pack walk only as Pakuranga track unavailable.

  5th July. 5,000m etc. Club Champs, Lovelock Track, Owairaka.

12th July. Training sessions at Botanical Gardens, Hill Road, Manurewa.

19th July. 1 hour / 30 mins.track walks. Yvette Williams Track, Pakuranga.

26th July. Winged Foot Trophy Handicap. 5K & 3K races. Auckland Domain,Grafton. 

 2nd August. Training walks. Waikaraka Park, Onehunga.

 9th August. Training at Victoria Park, City Central. ( Meet by cricket pavilion).

16th August. Auckland Road Race Champs. (All walks start at 11.00 a.m.) Continued below:

 Venue: Bruce Pulman Park, Papakura (enter via Walters Road).

23rd August. Training at Botanical Gardens, Hill Road, Manurewa. * Meet at Main Building entrance.

29th-30th August. North island Road Relay Champs, New Plymouth.

 6th Sept. Winged Foot Races. Auckland Domain, Grafton.

13th Sept. Mangere Bridge. ​​​​​​​Training walks. * Meet at end of Coronation Rd. Car park area.
