Kia ora,

My name is Wendy McCarthy. A little bit about me: I have just recently moved to Christchurch from Napier, Hawke's Bay with my whānau. Prior to moving to Rolleston, I have worked in schools where keeping active wasn't a top priority, but I consider sports as a means to connect our rangatahi, make new connections, represent our school with pride, and most importantly keep active!

This is where I am excited in my new role as Active As coordinator to engage with outside providers, to provide different experiences which does not necessarily mean our rangatahi will be playing our everyday sports like basketball or rugby, but trying something new! Watch this space.
