To coincide with Pride each year, InsideOUT Kōaro runs Out on the Shelves, a nationwide young rainbow storytelling competition. It aims to celebrate budding rainbow, takatāpui and MVPFAFF+ storytellers and encourage them to share their work.
We allow young storytellers to submit stories in a wide range of formats and mediums, including text, audio, graphics and video. We want our competition to reflect the diverse ways we share stories with each other in Te Moana-nui-a-Kiwa.
