Our Rolleston College 10A netball team finished the season as Prem 3 champions, defeating West Melton by 30 to 25 in the final last Saturday morning.

This team was the youngest team in the grade by far, and pulled one out of the bag in the final to upset the top-ranked team from pool play.

The 10A team have had an outstanding season coming away with 4th at the South Island Secondary Schools tournament in the A grade, and also finishing 4th in their Wednesday townsport competition. This is the best finish a Rolleston College netball team has had in both competitions! Congratulations to all our players, coaches and management.

Our 9A team fought hard and were runners-up in the 3rd grade this year and have shown incredible growth.

The 9B team came 4th in 7th grade after being promoted up a grade halfway through the season.

Last but not least, our 10B team finished 5th in 3rd grade.

Senior A netball

Our senior A netball team placed 12th in the A grade at the recent South Island Secondary Schools tournament in Whakatū/Nelson – an awesome achievement!

A number of girls in the team have been invited to the Mainland Netball development camp! This is an impressive accomplishment. Congratulations to Amelia Aramakutu, Emma Happer, Isla Pithie, and Ella Sincock!
