Selwyn District Council has some exciting active events coming up in the school holidays to engage rangatahi.  

Volleyball Social Tournament

Selwyn Sports Centre

Sunday 27 September, 11am to 4pm

Gather a team of six for our mixed social tournament, with open and high school grades available.

Bookings required, $50 per team.

Martials Arts Club

Selwyn Sports Centre

Have-a-go at a variety of martials art styles with some of Selwyn's local martial arts clubs.  Choose from one, some or all of these cool styles.

Bookings required, $9 per class per person.

• Muay Thai Kickboxing: Saturday 26 September, 1.30 to 2.30pm for rangatahi 8-15 years
  2.30 to 3.30pm for adults 16 years+
• Zen Do Kai (Freestyle Martial Arts): Sunday 27 September, 2.30 to 3.30pm
• Taekwondo: Saturday 3 October, 1.30 to 2.30pm
• Mixed Martial Arts (MMA): Sunday 4 October, 3 to 4pm
