Basketball
Summary: Over the Winter terms (2 and 3) we try and get enough students together for a team to play in the Secondary Girls Competition.
Logistics: Students are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from practices and games.
Teacher in charge: Mrs Harvey
Coach: Mr Bishop Edwards
Match times: Various – playing at Pettigrew Green Arena, Taradale
Practices: Tuesdays at Break 2 in the school gym.
Games: Games are played on Friday afternoons.
Uniform: Basketball uniforms are issued to teams. These must be returned to the Sports Department at the end of each season. It is expected that all girls wear their school sports hoodie or school jacket and own black sports trackpants to and from games.
