Takaka Athletics

Welcome to Takaka Athletics.

The club offers an opportunity for Takaka children aged 5 - 18 to enjoy a club night programme where, event coaching and club competitions are provided.  We run the Athletics NZ 5 Star award program. This is an incentive scheme based on personal improvement with certificates awarded on achieving specified performance levels. All children are given the opportunity and encouraged to compete at local and national track & field competitions.

This club is for the children and we need all adults to support this by helping on club nights. Your involvement is essential for all the athletic events to run smoothly

Our season runs from Wednesday Oct 16th  –  Dec 18th  2024 and returns Feb 5th  –  Apr 2nd  2025 at the Golden Bay Recreation Grounds, Takaka

Club Nights          Wednesdays 5.00 – 6.55pm
