2025-26 Summer Training Schedule

Held at Taradale Park

(off Puketapu Road)

Premier & Division 1 regular weekly training commence 30th September 2025

(Premier squad commence preseason training on 20th August at the CD Indoor Centre Sports Park)

All other grades commence 29th October 2025 

Premier & Division 1 train Tuesday and Thursday

Other teams train on Wednesday

Jim Cotterell (Senior Coach) will run training sessions for Premier and Division 1 teams

A bit about Jim Cotterell

• NZC level 3 coaching qualification 
• Previously coached TCC to one day title 1999
• Coached Hawke's Bay Senior Mens to Hawke Cup and Chapple Cup victories
• Coached in UK last 7 years at the club he previously played at for 2 years and privately coached 1-1s as well as 2 summers at Harrow School
• Played for Taradale Cricket Club from 1976 until 1993 including 6 years as captain of a championship winning team.Transitioned into coaching from 1975 and still enjoys learning every day
• Returned to reside in Taradale in 2024.
