RUGBY

TRAINING:

CSW, in conjuction with Wellington Secondary Schools Rugby Union, run all secondary level rugby. 

At Tawa College we offer rugby for boys and girls.  Please note there are some age restrictions for female players. 

All year 9 and 10 students wishing to play rugby must be weighed-in, and are placed in teams based on this.

Girls rugby is played on Wednesdays after school and boys rugby is played on Saturdays.

TRAINING:

Once or twice weekly as set by the coach.

UNIFORM:

Rugby jerseys, shorts and socks are provided by the college.

Students need to provide own boots and mouthguard.

TRANSPORT:

Students to provide their own transport to and from venue.
