Kāore i tū atu, Karanga mai te ao hou!

Ko te tāhūhū o tēnei o ngā kaupapa, Ko Te Ao KITA. Ko te reo Māori me ōnā tikanga, ko ngā heke.

Te Ao KITA exists to provide a safe, fun space for rangatahi Māori to learn, grow, and develop new skills.

Our kaupapa encourages participation in sport while strengthening psychological wellbeing, spiritual expression, self-confidence, and self-belief.

Born from a vision led by whānau, te reo Māori me ōna tikanga are the cornerstone of Te Ao KITA, creating a space where rangatahi can truly thrive.

Through sport, we foster resilience, leadership, healthy lifestyles, whanaungatanga, and the development of both sporting and life skills.

By weaving these elements together, Te Ao KITA becomes a place where rangatahi grow into well-rounded individuals and athletes — confident, connected, and grounded in te ao Māori.
