Te Aroha's nine-hole golfers (both men and women) meet regularly on Tuesday mornings at 9-9.15 for a 9.30 tee-off (summer hours) or 9.45 for a 10.00 tee-off (winter hours).
This midweek scramble is for golfers of all ages and abilities, it is for fun, socializing, and friendly competition. (The Tuesday prizes are highly sought after!)
Three different courses are played during the year: the Front 9, the Back 9, and the Composite course. A few times a year, when there is coring, for example, the nine holers play away, which means golfers can enjoy a variety of playing conditions.
In addition, many of the nine-holers meet for casual play on a Friday morning. Just turn up around 9.15 if you would like to join in. There are usually some players about to tee off unless the weather is particularly terrible OR a tournament is scheduled.
