Women's 18-Hole Golf at the Te Aroha Course

Women's 18 Hole golfers meet in the clubrooms on Thursday mornings to check on the programme for the day and the starting groups before a multi-tee start.

Start times

  • During the summer, start times can be from 8.30 – 9.30 am.
  • Winter times are usually 10 am.

Course used

  • When the course is dry the Gold course is played, but in the very wet part of the year, the shorter White course is used.

Socialising

  • After golf, the players enjoy lunch together followed by prize giving.
  • There is a raffle each week, often with homemade goodies for prizes.

To cater for those who work, members can play Saturday or Sunday. The programme is the same as for Thursday players but played in advance.

Tournament/Away golf

It's not required, but all players are encouraged to put their names forward for Thames Valley and Bay of Plenty events and to attend various tournaments throughout the year.

This way, you can enjoy both the social and competitive elements of the golfing fraternity.

New members are always welcome. Queries to the club secretary
