Funding

A huge thank you to TECT & The Lion Foundation!

We simply couldn’t have completed these improvements without your incredible support.

Your funding has helped us upgrade our facility, improve its energy efficiency, and create a more welcoming space for both our members and the wider community to enjoy.

☀️ Solar Power

We’ve installed 48 solar panels on our roof, helping us generate our own renewable energy and reduce our ongoing power costs. We can even track how much energy we’re producing and saving through an app!

🎾 Court Repainting

All three courts have been beautifully repainted, giving them a fresh new look while preserving a special part of our club’s history. We’ve kept the original colours used when the courts were painted 50 years ago, making Te Puke Squash one of only three clubs in New Zealand still featuring these unique heritage colours.

🛋️ New Lounge Couches

Four beautiful new couches have transformed our lounge into a warm, comfortable and inviting space for members, families and community groups to relax and connect.

🪑 New Stackable Chairs

We’ve also added 30 new, comfortable stackable chairs. They’re easy to store on their own trolley, take up very little space and will get plenty of use at club events and community gatherings.

💚 We Care Community Trust

A special thank you also goes to the We Care Community Trust for their ongoing support of our representative players.

Your generosity helps our players get to tournaments across the country by assisting with accommodation, travel costs and rental vehicles. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunities this support provides our players.

Thank you to all of our funders and supporters for investing in Te Puke Squash Club and helping us create a better facility for our members and our community.
