A) Minor concerns
- These may be able to be dealt with by the team coach or relevant committee member
B) More major complaints or when no resolution from A)

- The problem may be able to be resolved by the President or the President may recommend that a formal complaint is made
C) Formal complaint
- These are for serious incidents
- Formal complaints must be made in writing within 48 hours of receiving a reply from the Tinwald Netball Club president
- The president will form a complaints committee of three committee members to investigate and resolve the issue
- The complaints committee members must not be relatives or close friends of anyone involved and be impartial. All information is confidential within the complaints committee
- Anyone who is being complained about must be informed about the complaint and asked to give a written statement of their version of the incident
- The complaints committee will investigate the complaint, obtaining statements from parties involved and any witnesses if applicable
- The complaints committee will then decide on any actions to be taken
- An appeal of these decisions can be made to the Tinwald Netball Club committee, who will then seek the advice of the Mid Canterbury Netball Board. Appeals must be lodged within 78 days. Both parties will be notified of the outcome.
