Bullying or Anti-Social Behaviour Policy
The Tinwald Netball Club does not tolerate any form of bullying or anti-social behaviour within our club by any of its members or supporters!
Within our club means the areas of training sessions, including social media at game days or team functions, this also includes communications held with club netball related content. This also includes any concerns a parent/caregiver may have about their player’s performance held courtside.
We expect all our members, families and supporters to follow the Code of Conduct from:
Netball New Zealand - Netball New Zealand
Mid Canterbury Netball - Code of Conduct
Tinwald Netball Club - Code of Conduct
If you disagree with a coach, raise the issue via appropriate channels rather than question their judgement and honesty in public i.e. courtside on game day.
All reported incidents of bullying or other antisocial behaviour within the club will be thoroughly investigated by the management committee, and appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken, which may include suspension from games or termination of membership. Please refer to the TNC Constitution for further information.
Our organisation does not investigate, make judgments, or impose sanctions on members or supporters for alleged incidents that occur outside of our jurisdiction - such as in their home, workplace, school, or other organisations, as we are neither privy to the full circumstances nor authorised to intervene.
Members fulfilling a role may be requested to undergo a police check and the result of this request may affect their membership or role within our club.
