What Programmes are available for specifically for Girls & Women?

I want to become a committee member or help out my club in the Girls & Women’s space, but I don't know how?

How do I find out what decisions are made about G & W Football?

  • Attending Junior & Senior Pre-Season & End of Season Meetings
  • These are typically run annually in February/March (Pre-Season) and November (End of Season)

Senior Women’s Hui/Meetings

  • These meetings are for information sharing in the Senior Women’s space and will be held at least twice annually February/March (Pre-Season) and November (End of Season).

  • Our first hui/meetings for 2024 are February 27th (Sport Waikato, Hamilton) & February 28th (Sport BOP, Rotorua).

What Girls' only/Women Only Leagues are available to play in?

Juniors:

5th - 7th Grade  are usually Mixed Girls & Boys

6th Grade, U8 - U12 Girls' Only (Not all clubs have Girl's only teams)

Youth:

Koru & Kaimai Leagues - U14 Girls

Senior:

National Women's League - Hamilton Wanderers

National Youth League - Melville AFC

W-League (both Waikato & BOP teams)
