The Service Academy is a military-focused programme delivered within secondary schools in association with the New Zealand Defence Force that, integrates military skills into the academic syllabus.
The programme philosophy is driven by intangible terms such as uncompromising values, positive attitude, honest behavior and a humble respect for people and assets. It better prepares students for employment opportunities within but not limited to the Air force, Army, Navy through the guidance and mentoring of the Specialist Services Academy Director.
