Wairarapa Secondary School Sports

Touch Rugby will take place from 19th February - 2nd April and runs for 5 weeks, to be played on Thursdays at Mākoura College. Excluding Summer Tournament Week 26th March.

Time: Round 1 starting 4:15pm, round 2 starting 4:55pm

13min halves with a 2min half time.

Venue: Mākoura College, 1 Mākoura Road, Masterton

Cost: $250 per team - There is an increase in fee's due to administration fee's and increase of Mentee Refs.

Requirements:

1. Teams and adult supervisers MUST report to the tent

2. Schools are to provide their own first aide kits

Reffering Opportunity

We will once again run a 1 day session with Touch Mentors to increase our pool of officials - Their role will be to grow their own knowledge along with supporting players to increase theirs. They will start through the online portal linked on the right, and attend an on field session. Scheduled Monday 9th - Lunch / Whistle and T-Shirt Provided

Once trainings have been completed, each mentee will receive $10 per game, with a maximum of 2 games per night. We will work around their games.

Mentees will be supported by event organisers. There will be two referees per game depending on difficulty.
