Types of Members

Membership is open to anyone who is actively interested inradio sailing and in supporting the club and its Purposes.

Classes of membership shall include Ordinary Members andAssociate Members*, plus any other classes of membershipas may be approved at a General Meeting.

An Associate Membership* may be offered to anyoneresiding outside of the Auckland City boundaries, or whenWRSC is not their primary NZ RC Sailing club.

Members have the rights and responsibilities set out in these Rules.

Admission of Members

To become a member, a person (“the Applicant”) must completean application form, supply any other relevant informationrequested by the Committee and pay any applicable fees andsubscriptions.

The Committee shall have sole discretion to either accept ordecline the applicant.

The Committee shall advise the Applicant of its decision withinfourteen (14) days of the decision being made, and thatdecision shall be final. Should an application be declined allfees paid shall be refunded in full.

Memberships are renewed annually upon the completion ofthe Membership renewal form and payment of thesubscription set at the AGM.

The Committee reserves the right to decline an annual renewaland shall advise the Member of its decision not to allowrenewal, and that decision shall be final.
