U13 Skills & Festival 2025 – Registrations Open!

The U13 Skills & Festival is a four-week development opportunity for Year 7–8 players to build hockey skills, connect with others, and compete at the U13 Festival in Dunedin.

Program Overview:

• Who: Open to all Year 7–8 players

• When: Sundays – June 8, 15, 22, 29

• Time: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM

• Where: ILT Invercargill Hockey Turfs

• Format: 6-a-side teams (National standard at U13 level)

Final Week: Festival Prep & Team Training

All players who attend the first 3 sessions will be placed into teams and train for the U13 Festival in Dunedin on July 5–6.

Costs:

• Pre-tournament sessions: $20 (covers turf hire)

• Festival Costs: Final costs will depend on sponsorship and confirmed numbers, but approx.:

  • $12 each, tournament entry per team (6–9 players per team)

  • $TBD for Columba Hostel Accomodation and food (Friday and Saturday night)

  • $55 (approx.) for optional representative hoodie

  • Festival costs due: June 29

Note: Players must attend all 4 sessions to be eligible for the Festival. IHA will provide playing uniforms. Players must supply their own black socks.

Fundraising Opportunity

A parent fundraising meeting will be held once registrations are in. This can help cover festival-related costs.
